Silvane Beta Is Open: A New MTG Collection Tracker
Silvane, a collection tracker for Magic: The Gathering built by one player, opens its beta. Track, brew, share, and trade your collection.

Silvane is a hobby project, built by one person. There is no team and no roadmap. Just the hours I can find around a day job.
I have spent more than twenty years building software for big companies around the world. And still, my favorite day of the week is Thursday, because Thursday is Commander night with my friends. Same table, same people, and decks that never stop changing.
Silvane is what happened when my two favorite things finally met: building good software and playing Magic. I made the tool I always wanted for my own collection, and once it worked for me, I wanted other players to have it too.
Today it is ready for more hands than mine. The Silvane beta is open.
Track, brew, share, and trade
That is the slogan on the box, and it is an honest map of what this MTG collection tracker does. Silvane lives on iOS, Android, and the web, and everything below ships in the beta:
- Track. Scan cards with your camera and Silvane identifies the exact printing, in any language the card was printed in (how scanning works). Every card is priced across the major marketplaces: TCGplayer, Star City Games, Card Kingdom, Mana Pool, and Cardmarket, and you pick the source that matches how you actually buy and sell (about our price sources). A portfolio chart shows your collection value moving day by day, from bulk commons to Survival of the Fittest (the portfolio view), and price alerts tell you the moment a card you own or want crosses your line (price alerts).
- Brew. Full deck building with commander support, playtesting, legality checks, and tracked decks that reserve real copies from your collection so you always know what is free to trade (decks).
- Share. Binders, decks, and lists get public links that anyone can open in a browser. Your collection becomes something you can actually show at the table (binders).
- Trade. For Trade and Wants lists that travel with your public profile, plus a sales ledger and loan tracking for the cards that leave your binder (selling and loans).
- Your data stays yours. The Magic card scanner, the prices, the decks: everything works offline, syncs across your devices, and backs up on demand (backups).
Everything above works today. It is a beta because I am still sanding edges, and because the next improvements should come from real players using it, not from my guesses.
How to join the beta
Access is by invitation while I keep quality high. Getting in is one email:
Write to support@silvane.app and tell me a little about your collection. A sentence is plenty. I read every message and send invites in batches.
What to expect once you are in: the full app on your platform of choice, no locked features during the beta, and a direct line to the person who builds it. Feedback does not go into a ticket queue. It goes into next Thursday's build.
One Thursday at a time
So here it is. Built with care, one Thursday at a time. If Silvane helps you enjoy your collection half as much as building it has helped me enjoy mine, the hours were worth it.
