Price sources
What each of the five sources measures, how to switch, and what changes when you do.
Silvane prices every card in five markets. One of them is active at a time — every amount you see, on every surface, is that source's number.
The five sources

A market price and a retail ask are different questions, and the gap between them is real: measured against TCGplayer market prices, Card Kingdom's retail asks run about 1.63× and Star City Games about 1.45× (median across shared cards), while Mana Pool's median sits around 0.75×. None of those numbers is wrong — they answer different questions, and your collection total will honestly differ between them.
Choosing your source
In the app: Profile → Settings — the Prices group sits at the top — → Price source. Five options, each explaining what it measures; tap one and the switch applies everywhere.
On the web: the Prices control in the site header (it carries a USD/EUR badge, so you always know which currency the page is in) opens the same five choices. Picking one reloads the page, so every number on it is re-priced at once. Signed out, the choice lives in your browser; the moment you sign in, your account's source takes over.

Switching is atomic
A switch is one operation, not a drift: deck totals are re-stamped in the same step, so you never see a deck priced in euros next to a collection priced in dollars. Price alerts are the deliberate exception — each alert stays anchored to the market it was created in.
Your total will change — that's the answer, not an error
Each source answers a different question, so your collection total changes when you switch. That's a new answer, not a correction of the old one — nothing about your cards changed.
Currencies
Four sources price in USD; Cardmarket prices in EUR. Silvane holds no exchange rate: euro amounts are never converted to dollars (or the other way), and no percentage ever compares a price across currencies. On the web, the header badge tells you which currency the page is in.
Unpriced cards
No source prices everything. When your source has no price for a card, Silvane leaves the amount blank and counts the card apart — it never borrows a price from another source. On web pages — binders, lists, views, Owned, For Trade, Wants and set pages — the hero shows an "N unpriced" badge whenever the total excludes cards your source doesn't price. (Sales are the deliberate exception: a sale's totals come from its own locked line prices, so an unpriced badge has no place there.)
Coverage differs by source. Of the roughly 108,000 printings in the catalog, about 104,000 carry a price on any given day: Mana Pool 92%, Cardmarket 91%, TCGplayer 91%, Card Kingdom 89%, Star City Games 88%. A card unpriced in your source usually has a price in another.
History is per source
Every chart is the history of one (card, finish, source) series. Switching sources switches which series you're reading — it never erases the others, which keep accumulating in the background.
