Silvane on the web

silvane.app is the same account and the same collection as the app, in a browser. There is no guest: sign in and your collection is there.

The header

Signed in, the top bar carries four controls, left to right after the logo:

• Tray — the staging area shared with the app. See The Tray.
• Search — the library search, over your own binders, lists, decks and the cards in them. Its box reads Search cards, binders, lists, decks….
• ＋ — create a binder, a list or a deck.
• Price source — which market Silvane prices from. On phone-width windows this control moves inside the avatar menu.

Your avatar opens a menu with Watchlist, Price Alerts, Profile, Settings, Silvane Pro and Sign out.

The primary navigation to the left carries Search, Decks (Commander Precons, Secret Lair and Sets), MCP, Blog and Docs.

Your hub

Your profile page is the web's home base. It lists your decks (with Import deck), binders, lists and views, with one search box across all four. See all on a section opens that kind's own page, where your folders are; the hub itself stays flat. An empty profile says Your binders, lists and decks show up here, with Create a binder, list or deck and Import a deck.

Down the side sit your collection value chart and three tiles:

• Owned Cards — every copy you own. See Owned Cards.
• For Trade and Wants — public if you turn them on in Settings.

Decks, binders, lists and views

Each kind has a page of its own: silvane.app/user/<you>/decks, /binders, /lists and /views. They open from See all on your hub, from Go to in the search, and from your name above one of your own binders, lists, views or decks.

• The header counts what the page holds: decks · tracked, binders · cards · unique (lists the same), views · saved searches · trackers, and your folders.
• Sort by Recently updated, Recently created or Name; decks also by Value and Cards, binders by Value, Total cards and Unique cards, lists by Total cards and Unique cards. The arrow beside it flips the order.
• Filters: Show (Folders or All), Sharing (All, Public, Private), and per kind Format, Colors and Tracking for decks, Cards (All, With cards, Empty) for binders and lists, Type (All, Saved search, Tracker) for views, and Color, with No color, for binders, lists and views. Clear filters resets them.
• New binder, New list and New deck open the create sheet on that kind. Views are created in the app.

A visitor sees only what you made public, and only the folders that hold something public at any level, with their names and colors.

Folders on the web

A page opens on your folders, each with its name, color and how much it holds, then what is Not in a folder. A folder opens in place, and the address keeps it: Back closes it and the link opens it again. The search at the top looks through everything.

• New folder asks for a name (up to 80 characters) and a Color identifier, then Create.
• Inside a folder, Edit renames or recolors it, and More → Delete asks Delete this folder? with what happens to what it holds (This folder contains 3 binders. They will be moved out of the folder.), then Delete folder. The folder goes to Recently deleted.
• A new binder or list made inside a folder starts in it. A new deck starts outside any folder.
• The Free plan's folder limits are the same as in the app; see Silvane Pro.

A folder can hold folders, three levels deep (Folders inside folders). A folder opens on the folders inside it, then on what it holds itself; its card counts everything under it; the title carries the trail of folders above it, each one a step back up; and New folder inside a folder makes one there, down to the third level. Deleting a folder moves what it holds up one level.

• Move a folder: inside it, More → Move opens the folder picker. The folder and what is inside it are not offered, and a folder that would take the tree past three levels shows dimmed and cannot be picked. No folder takes it to the top. The folder stays open and its title shows the new trail.
• Move a binder, a list, a deck or a view: on its page, More → Move to folder, or Change folder when it is already in one. The More menu of the built-in For Trade and Wants pages has no such entry.
• It is the same picker as in the app: see Moving things.

Settings

/settings holds what the web itself controls: your username and display name, whether For Trade and Wants appear on your public profile, and a link to change your password. Your price source is the header's control. Grid, sorting and search preferences live in the app and sync with the account; the app's Theme and App icon stay on the device you set them on. The site's own light, dark or system switch is in the footer.

Deck Studio and Playtest need width

Two screens are gated on window width, not on screen size:

• Deck Studio needs a window of at least 64 rem, which is 1024 px at the default text size.
• Playtest needs at least 48 rem, which is 768 px.

A narrow window on a large screen lands on the gate, and so does a zoomed-in page. The gate names the width it needs and the width you have, and updates live as you resize.

Version and updates

The footer shows the web version and its build. When a new version deploys while you have a tab open, a Silvane has been updated card appears at the bottom right with Reload and What's new, and Later when the old version still works. When it no longer does, only Reload is offered. A change made in a tab running the old version brings the card up at once, reading Your last change wasn't saved. Reload and try again.

What the web does not do

Scanning, the Ledger, Loans, Rules, Top movers, the Booster Guide, backups, import history, Recently deleted, notifications, the tag manager, Simulate, creating a view, reordering, selecting several folders, binders, lists, decks or views at once, the Theme colors and App icon, and Import from another app are all app-only. On the web, a whole ManaBox collection file goes into one binder, after Import everything. The full split is in Getting started.
