Install the app

Silvane runs on iOS and Android. Download it from the App Store or Google Play, open it, and you'll get a short welcome tour of the main areas — you can replay it any time from the Profile tab → Welcome tour.

Create an account

Sign in from the Profile tab (Sign in or create account) with Google, Apple (iOS only) or an email and password (8 characters minimum; email sign-ups confirm the address via an emailed link, and Forgot password? sends a reset email). An account is what keeps your collection safe and synced: everything you add is stored locally on your device first and then synced to the cloud, so the app stays fast and works offline.

You don't need an account to start: the app signs you in as a guest automatically, and a guest can use almost everything — add cards, scan, build decks. When you later create an account (Profile → Sign in or create account), everything you added as a guest is kept and attached to it — the credentials link to the same user, nothing is lost. Until then your collection lives behind this device's guest session only: lose the device or sign out and it can't be recovered, so don't wait too long. Account-only features: Notifications, Data & Backups (including Recently deleted), and Silvane Pro.

Create your first binder

Cards need somewhere to live, so start by creating a binder — the digital twin of a real album or box. In the Collection tab, tap ＋, name it (a color helps telling binders apart), and you're set. Binders hold cards you own; their sibling, lists, hold cards you want — see Building your collection.

Add your first cards

There are three ways to get cards into Silvane, in increasing order of speed:

1. Search and add — find any card in Search, pick the exact printing, and add it to your new binder.
2. Scan — point your camera at real cards and let the scanner identify the exact printing, including set and collector number.
3. Import — bring a whole collection or deck from a CSV file, another app, or a URL. See Importing.
