Your collection

Everything you own, or want, lives in the Collection tab, built from a few pieces:

• Binders hold cards you physically own, like real albums.
• Lists hold cards you don't necessarily own: wishlists, staging areas, trade targets.
• Folders group binders or lists.
• Owned Cards is the always-current aggregate: every copy in your binders, plus the copies in your tracked decks.

Each copy carries its exact printing (set and collector number), finish (normal, foil or etched), condition (Near Mint through Damaged) and language.

The collection hub

The Collection tab opens the hub. It shows your total value with its trend and top card (switch it off at Settings → Market header), priced in your active price source, then your collections under two tabs, Binders and Lists.

Under the title sits a N cards · N unique line. Tap it to open Owned Cards. On a tablet it is All owned cards in the Collection panel; on the web it is the Owned Cards tile on your hub.

The tools row

Below the collections sits a row of tools:

• Views — saved smart filters.
• Price Alerts and Watchlist. A badge appears on Price Alerts when alerts have triggered since your last look.
• Top Movers.
• Rules — the Comprehensive Rules, offline, plus the Rules Judge.
• Loans — who has your cards.
• Ledger — sales, purchases and what they add up to. Pro.

To reorder them, open the Tools screen from the pinned button at the left of the row, choose Reorder, press and hold a row to lift it, drag, then Done. The order saves to your account. A Pro-gated tool carries a PRO chip. On a tablet there is no tools row: the Collection panel hosts the tools.

The row is app-only. The web has no Ledger, Loans, Rules or Top Movers screen; Views, Watchlist and Price Alerts it does have.

Search everything you own

One query across everything that is yours, grouped into sections:

• Go to — your three standing screens: Owned Cards, For Trade and Wants. Typing wishlist finds Wants, because that is what the app calls it.
• Cards — the printings you own, with the binder or list each lives in.
• Binders, Lists, Decks and Views — matched by name.
• Sets — any set of the catalog, by name or by code: final fantasy comm or fic both find Final Fantasy Commander. Each row shows the set symbol, its name and code, and its release date, and opens that set's page. The set whose code is exactly what you typed comes first, then names and codes that start with it, newest first. Two characters are enough.

Each section previews its first three results with a See all (N) that expands in place. It is signed-in only. Cards and the four kinds of collection are only ever yours; Sets is the one section that comes from the catalog, as a shortcut. For a card you do not own, use Searching.

In the app — the magnifier on the collection hub. Which of your own sources the Cards section draws from (Binders, Lists, Decks, all on by default) is set in Settings → Search, under Card Sources. Cards need three characters, or two for Japanese, Chinese and Korean, where two characters are already a word. On the web — the magnifier in the site header. Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux) anywhere on the site — except in this manual, where ⌘K searches the manual instead. Arrows walk the results, Enter opens one, ⌘/Ctrl+click opens it in a new tab, and Esc closes. Opening a card shows it over the results, so closing puts you back where you were. Cards need three characters, flat.

The other sections match from the first letter on both.
