Watchlist
Follow cards you don't own yet, organized in folders, with price movement at a glance.
The watchlist tracks cards you don't own but care about — reprint targets, spec picks, the last pieces of a deck. Each watched row shows the card's current price — in your active price source — and its change over your selected window, per watched finish.
Adding cards
In the app, open a card and tap the … button at the top right, then Watchlist. Pick the Finish to watch (each finish is its own price series) and the Folder, then tap Add to watchlist. The eye button on the full price analysis screen opens the same sheet, and so does Watch in the card quick view on a phone.
In the app, Cards worth watching puts cards a tap away. It fills an empty Watchlist and stays under the list once you watch cards (not inside a folder or while you search):
- Commander staples — six cards played across Commander, one per color plus a colorless one.
- From ‹your Wishlist› — the list with Wishlist on: its cards worth $5 and up, most valuable first, one printing each.
- Rising this week — cards whose price climbed this week, $5 and up.
Each row shows the price and the week's change. Watch adds that card and finish, then reads Watching; the Free plan's 5 cards apply. A tap on the card opens it. The section folds and stays the way you leave it; its ✕ hides it on this device, and with nothing watched it comes back on your next visit.
On the web it is the same move: a card's page or drawer offers Add to watchlist, with the folder picker and the same Free-plan limit. Only the notification switches are app-only.
Organizing
Group watched cards into folders — each shows its card count. Deleting a watchlist folder removes the watched cards inside it — folders here behave like containers, unlike collection folders. The folder and its cards go to Recently deleted for 30 days and come back together. On the web the button reads Delete folder and its cards (Delete folder when it is empty).
Free plan
Free accounts can watch 5 cards. Silvane Pro removes the limit.
Working the list
- Window pills at the top set the change window every row displays.
- Sort the list (price, change, name, date added…) with the sort control; pull down to refresh.
- Tap a row to open the card's full price analysis — that screen is Pro, so on the Free plan the tap lands on the upgrade sheet.
- Long-press a folder for its actions; each card's ⋯ offers View card details, Move to folder (Remove from folder inside one) and Remove from watchlist.
Movement alerts
Once a day at 23:15 UTC, after the day's prices land, Silvane checks every watched card in your price source. If any moved more than your threshold — up or down — you get a push per moved card and one email listing the day's movers, each with its finish tag.
- The threshold is yours: 5 / 10 / 15 / 20% (default 5) — the gear on the watchlist explains the rule and adjusts it, on the app and the web.
- Movement alerts complement price alerts: alerts are surgical per-card targets; the watchlist rule covers everything you watch with one line.
- Delivery is controlled by the Watchlist Alerts toggles (push and email) in notifications.
On the web
Your watchlist is also at silvane.app/watchlist, with the same folders, window pills and sorts, and a card drawer for quick detail.
The digests
Two digests email you your watchlist's value, its change and the cards that moved: the weekly every Monday at 13:15 UTC and the monthly on the 1st of each month at 13:15 UTC.
From watching to acting
To turn a watched card into a price alert ("tell me when it dips"), open the card, tap … at the top right, then Alerts. When you finally buy it, add it to a binder and remove it from the watchlist.
