Tags
Labels for your cards, their three scopes, and where you can apply them.
Tags are labels for your cards — "RCQ staple", "to grade", "sentimental" — and they come in three scopes:
- Global — usable everywhere.
- Binder or list scoped — private to one collection.
- Deck scoped — private to one deck.
The tag picker offers globals plus the tags scoped to where you are standing. Tags are unlimited on every plan.
The picker
The picker is a single list, not an Add tab and a Remove tab. Every row says whether that tag is on all, some or none of the cards you have selected, and tapping it flips that. Every tap applies immediately.
Where you can tag
- In the app — a card's own menu, or press and hold to multi-select and hit Tag in the bulk bar.
- On the web — Tags under Edit in a card's menu, or the Tag button in the bulk bar, in binders and lists alike. Both open the same sheet over one card or a whole selection. Tagging is owner-only.
- In a deck — the deck's card sheet keeps Category and Tags on separate tabs, Category first because a card can have only one. Categories exist only inside decks; tags go anywhere.
A tag applies to the card in that collection, not to one finish. Apply one with only the foil tile selected and it lands on the card, foil and normal alike.
Managing tags
Create, rename and delete tags, and see per-tag counts, in Profile → Settings → Tags. This screen is app-only.
Filter any binder by its tags from the filter sheet, and build views on your global tags: a "RAMP" tag applied across binders and lists becomes a live, cross-collection view.
Tags are private on decks, public on collections
On a deck you share, visitors see the deck but never its tags. On a shared binder or list it is the opposite: the tags on each card travel with the page, and visitors can group by them. If a tag says something you would not put in public, keep it off the cards in a collection you share.
