Binders

A binder is the digital twin of a physical album or box. It holds owned copies with their exact printing, finish, condition and language.

Creating one

In the app — from the collection hub: name, color, and the folder to file it into if you have folders.

On the web — the header +, with the same three fields.

Creating a folder is app-only.

Managing one

In the app — the management sheet: press and hold the binder's row in the hub, or use the ⋯ button inside the binder. In the hub you can also swipe a row left to delete. It has four groups:

• Quick actions — Edit (name and color), Duplicate, Move to folder or Remove from it, Share.
• Organize — Reorder the hub, Merge into another collection, Select cards, set as Quick Add target, toggle For Trade.
• Data — Import cards, Export.
• Danger zone — Empty the binder, Delete it. Deleted binders go to Recently deleted for 30 days.

On the web — the More menu, with Share beside it: Edit, Select cards, Clone, Import cards, Export, the For Trade and Wishlist switches, and a Danger zone with Empty and Delete. Clone is the web's name for Duplicate.

Four things stay in the app: Move to folder, Reorder, Merge, and setting a Quick Add target. So does the per-collection Data screen.

One tile per finish

A binder lists one tile per finish, not one tile per card. A printing you hold as two normals and one foil is two tiles, each with its own count and price.

Every tile carries the same family of marks:

• ×N when you hold more than one copy of that finish.
• A FOIL or ETCHED tag. A normal finish has no tag.
• A language code when the copy is not English.
• The set symbol, set code and collector number, then the condition.
• The price of that finish in your active price source, with the source's mark.

Two places draw a printing once whatever its finishes: the app's compact grid and a tracker slot. The same rule decides what a bulk action touches — see Bulk actions.

Inside a binder

• Search within the binder to jump to a card.
• Sort by fourteen keys under two tabs, each with an ascending and descending toggle. General: Last added, Release date, Name, Mana value, Price, Total value, Copies, Color identity. More: Price change · 7d (% or $), Rarity, Collector number, Set code, Set name. The web offers a slightly different set: it adds Condition and Language, and leaves out the price-change sorts.
• Filter by color, type, rarity, tags and more.
• Change the layout. In the app the layout button cycles compact grid → grid → list. The web has a Grid and List switch.
• Group your cards. Group By splits the grid under collapsible sticky headers by rarity, set, color, type or tags. Each binder remembers its own grouping.
• Multi-select — see Bulk actions.
• Open a card for its details, prices and everywhere it lives.

Merging

Merge one collection into another — a "New order" list into your main binder once the cards arrive — from the app's management sheet. Quantities combine per printing, finish, condition and language, and the source collection is deleted afterwards. The confirm dialog says so, and the source lands in Recently deleted like any deletion.

Analytics and value

Every binder has a Data screen behind the pie-chart icon in its header: total value, top contributors, distribution by type and rarity, and its own price movers. With a search or filter active, Data analyzes only the filtered cards. The same screen exists for lists and for Owned Cards. See Prices & Market.
