Profile & settings

The Profile tab is home base for your account and how the app behaves.

Your profile identity

Tap your profile card at the top of the Profile tab to open Edit profile — one screen for everything public about you:

• Username — your handle at silvane.app/user/<username>. Every account starts with an auto-generated, Magic-flavored one (something like oracle2213), and you can change it here whenever and as often as you like: 3–20 characters, lowercase letters, numbers and _; the field checks availability live and Save stays disabled until your pick is free. One consequence to know: the old URL stops working after a rename, so treat renames like moving house.
• Display name — optional; the friendly name shown next to your handle (leave it blank and the handle stands alone).
• Avatar — pick one of the built-in avatars or upload your own photo.
• Bio — a line about what you play, collect or brew.
• Color identity — the mana colors shown on your profile.

Everything saves from the same Save button and updates your public profile immediately.

Account & data

The Profile tab's rows, in the order they appear in the app:

• Silvane Pro — your plan and subscription history.
• Account — change your email, and Change password or Set a password if you signed up with Apple or Google and never had one. Connected accounts links and unlinks Apple and Google sign-in; the last remaining method cannot be unlinked, so you are never locked out. Delete account is here too.
• Notifications — the push/email matrix.
• Connect to Claude & ChatGPT — the setup screen for MCP: what your AI can do with your collection, and the endpoint to paste, ready to copy.
• Settings — the Prices group sits first, with your price source and the collection market header, then Tray bubble, Appearance (light, dark or the system), Sort and Search preferences, Grid (card size, which resolves to more cards per row on a tablet), Card detail layout, Tags, and the public-profile toggles.
• Storage & Sync — the card database, price refresh, cached images and pending uploads.
• Data & Backups — backups, Import History and Recently deleted (the Recently deleted).
• About — version, feedback and support.
• Version history — what changed in each release.
• Welcome tour — replay the onboarding.

Where each setting lives

In the app — all of the above.

On the web — silvane.app/settings carries your username and display name, the Show For Trade and Show Wants switches for your public profile, and a link to change your password. Your price source is the Prices control in the site header, not a setting page. Everything else — your email, your plan, backups and account deletion — is app-only.
