Tracked decks
What changes when a deck holds real cards, and how those copies count.
A tracked deck is a deck that physically exists: sleeved, in a box, on your shelf.
What tracking changes
A tracked deck adds its copies to what you own, and those copies are set aside, so another deck sees fewer available.
That one sentence is the whole rule. In detail:
- Owned Cards, your collection value and the ×N counts on a card all include the deck's copies. A card that lives only in a tracked deck still reports as owned.
- Available copies are what is left after every tracked deck has taken its share. Another deck that wants the same card sees fewer free, and the building tools use that number.
Not every line has to follow the rule. A card can be a proxy, have Tracked turned off, or be a shared copy counted once across several decks. See Proxies, untracked cards and shared copies.
Turning it on and off
The switch is Count in collection — "Adds this deck's cards to your owned total and value" — under Actions → Edit in the app, and More → Deck settings on the web. A tracked deck wears a TRACKED pill in its header.
Untracking releases every copy back to available. Nothing is deleted.
Finishing a build turns tracking on automatically, and disassembling turns it back off.
Missing cards
What you still need is computed in Tools → Build, and it accounts for the copies other tracked decks have taken.
On a deck that is already tracked, Build has nothing to find, so it shows one of two things:
- The build receipt — what was pulled from where — if the deck became tracked by finishing a build.
- Otherwise "This deck is already tracked. Build only applies to virtual decks. Disassemble the deck first to reset its cards back to your binders."
The inventory overlay is not offered on a tracked deck.
