Deck Tools
Insights
The deck at a glance, opening-hand odds, mana base, curve, colors, types and rarities.
The Insights tab (Data tier) reads your deck like a coach, in seven sections, top to bottom — the same on the app and in the Studio's Stats pane:
- At a glance — the deck in three lines: size and format, lands against spells and their average cost, then the colors and the leading card types. Three numbers underneath: lands, spells, average mana value.
- Opening hand — the odds, in plain words: how often a seven-card hand holds 2 to 4 lands, the chance of each land count from 0 to 7, and the chance of making the land drop on turns 2, 3 and 4. A Commander table draws on turn 1; a two-player game on the play does not, and the card says which it counted.
- Mana Curve — stacked bars with a Color/Type toggle.
- Mana Base — two views. Balance: per color, the sources you have (lands, rocks, dorks) against the pips your spells need, with a one-line reading on top ("Blue is short on sources"). Lands: how many of your lands make each color ("6 of 24 lands produce blue"). Any-color producers count only for the deck's colors.
- Card Types — proportional bar plus the ranked list.
- Colors — the deck's color split, with a Cards/Symbols toggle: how many cards are blue, versus how many blue pips you cast.
- Rarity — the rarity spread as a bar and chips, with a Spells/All toggle.
Insights recompute live as you edit, so you see the effect of every swap immediately.
On the deck page
Every deck page on silvane.app carries the same story under the list, for anyone who can open it: the deck at a glance as a strip, the opening hand, then the six cards behind a Stats header — folded by default; press Show, or pick Stats from the group menu, to open them. Secret Lair pages show none of this: a drop is a product, not a deck.
