What Silvane validates, which formats have rules, and where the breakdown lives.
Silvane validates a deck against its format: banned cards, copy limits, color identity against your commander, deck size and format-specific rules. Problems are listed card by card, so a fix is one tap away.
Rules exist for six formats: Commander, Standard, Pioneer, Modern, Legacy and Vintage, where restricted cards are validated as one-copy warnings. A deck in any other format is not validated, and says so rather than claiming to be legal.
Cards in Considering are left out of every check.
Where to find it
- In the app — the Legality chip in the deck header. Tap it for the breakdown.
- In the Studio — the Legal tab of the context pane, which also carries the Commander bracket.
- On the web deck page — a banner above the list, for the owner only. It opens the Studio's Legal tab.
A proxy is validated like the card it stands for. Legality does not care how a copy is held.
