Filters & presets

The visual filter builder, and saving combinations you use often.

The filter builder

The advanced filters screen builds complex queries visually: colors and color identity (each with its own match mode — exactly / including / at most), types and subtypes, mana value, power/toughness, oracle text (with ALL / ANY / NOT constraints), rarity, sets, language, price ranges and more. Filters combine with whatever is in the search bar.

One mechanic to know: nothing runs until you tap "Apply (N)" — the button counts your active filters, and leaving the screen with back discards unapplied edits. Filters are built deliberately, then fired once.

Two filters worth knowing:

  • Language narrows results to prints in a specific language. You don't need it to find a card by its foreign name — typing the name in any language just works.
  • Group results controls how printings are listed: All prints (the default) shows every printing, Unique art shows one result per artwork, Cards shows one row per unique card.

Presets

Save a filter combination as a preset and reuse it in one tap — "Standard removal", "commanders under $5", "foils in my colors". The bookmark icon on the filters screen opens the preset list; saving needs at least one active filter, saving under an existing name overwrites it, and presets live on the device (they don't sync). You can keep up to 30 (all plans).

Presets differ from Views: a preset is a reusable search input; a view is a persistent lens over what you own that lives on your collection screen.
